Maiden Lane, a girl taking a break from shopping sits down by a red table.
Maiden Lane is a short street in San Francisco, that is pedestrian-only from 11AM to 6PM. It is notable for its proximity to Union Square and its concentration of upscale retailers, including Chanel, Marc Jacobs, and Yves Saint Laurent. During the day, while closed to traffic, several cafes open along the streets with outdoor tables that are most enjoyable on the surprising number of sunny days that this neighborhood sees. The street also serves as the location of San Francisco's only Frank Lloyd Wright designed building.
